Level 2 Award in Instructing Kettlebell Sessions

The VTCT Level 2 Award in Instructing Kettlebell Training Sessions is designed to provide learners with an understanding of the legal and professional requirements of a group kettlebell instructor. Learners will be taught the key concepts of kettlebell training and how technology can be used in kettlebell sessions. Learners are also provided with the knowledge and skills to be able to plan, prepare and deliver safe but effective group kettlebell training sessions.

In order to achieve the Level 2 Award in Instructing Kettlebell Sessions, learners must complete the below mandatory units:

• Planning Kettlebell Training Sessions
• Instructing Kettlebell Training Sessions

Learners must hold a suitable Level 2 fitness instructing qualification, for example:

• Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing.
• Level 2 Certificate in Group Training.
• Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing.

Some experience of kettlebell training is useful.

Successful completion of this qualification will enhance your employability within the sport and active leisure industry. You will be equipped to run kettlebell training sessions and have the skills and knowledge to integrate kettlebells into your resistance classes/programmes.
