Delivering Personal Training
These units will be assessed through a range of methods, including a portfolio (workbook), online multiple choice exam and practical assessment.
There is also an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication at level 2.
On achievement of the Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training, learners could look to move into becoming an employed or self-employed personal trainer, advanced Instructor or a club/centre supervisor.

The online version of the course requires you to study all aspects of the course from home, using our dedicated student platform. You will be required to attend an assessment day at each level where you will be assessed in delivering gym-based exercise and personal training sessions.

With the mentored version of the course, you are allocated a tutor who will guide you through the course on a 1-2-1 basis from start to finish. Contact days can be taken at one of our many dedicated centres or your own fitness centre and these, including assessment days are arranged between you and the tutor.
